Convert image pixels and a chosen PPI into physical print dimensions. You can also enter a target width and height to estimate the available PPI when cropping to fill. Reading the pixel dimensions of a selected file happens on your device.
Pixels and print resolution
PPI = pixels ÷ printed inches. For centimetres, printed inches = centimetres ÷ 2.54. Increasing the pixel count does not recover missing detail. The displayed PPI is an estimate, not a quality rating. The PDF uses up to 300 PPI with a 4096-pixel limit on the longest page edge.
Example
| px | PPI | cm |
|---|---|---|
| 3000 × 2000 | 300 | 25.4 × 16.93 |
| 3000 × 2000 | 200 | 38.1 × 25.4 |
